 The 29th Annual SwedishAmerican State Street Mile, to be held August 3rd in downtown Rockford, is going to be bigger than ever with the new affiliations with Road I.D., Chicago Athlete Magazine, B103 and our biggest news – the USA Track & Field (USTAF) organization that will be drawing athletes from all over the region to Rockford for the 1-mile race. Proceeds from the race will be donated to the Boys & Girls Club of Rockford and the Rockford Wildcats Running Group. Thank you to the group of volunteers and Comcast employees that took part in Comcast Cares Day April 27th and cleaned up the baseball fields at our Carlson Unit. We not only got our grounds in great shape but we also received a grant for $5,000 for the programs we offer to more than 6,500 area youths annually! Thank you Comcast.
